Tablet PC?
Dec. 30th, 2006 05:27 amIf one should decide that one might be in the market for a tablet PC and, considering factors such as cost are pretty major in that area, where might one look for good solid reviews of systems, pricing, where to buy, and something that says whether they're using Wacom's technology?
I've been more and more considering laying my hands on one of these things... I thought about a laptop a few months back, but with the amount of graphics stuff I do and the fact that I really couldn't do it on a laptop, said machine would basically turn into an email device. It'd basically be worthless to me. ^^ A tablet makes more sense, since I could install my graphics programs onto it and work directly on screen, meaning I could do things at work, cons, on the road, etc. It would actually have a purpose beyond email. (Though I'd still be using it for internet functions too. ^^) But trying to actually find something that will handle graphics programs, uses Wacom's technology, has optical drives and internet connectivity, and won't completely cost me an arm and a leg has been proving difficult so far. (It'll be a while before I can afford it anyway, though, so there's still time.)
And I'm not especially interested in Gateway. ^^
