GO. It's amazing, go see it.

Based on my admittedly constantly faulty memory, I'm going to do my best to compare the movie and the book.

Granted, the movie is in theatres and not easy for me to reference back to, and the book is loaned out. But I've read it fairly recently, and just saw the movie, so I'll do the best I can. I don't do these reviews very often, only when the movie inspires me to do so.

This is a separate entry so comments can be left on the other one without risk of exposure to spoilers.

Movie vs Book, as far as I can recall )

My remaining point is this: People in theatres need to SHUT THE EFF UP. Seriously. Woman behind me, I did NOT need to hear you bitching about "Oh, are they going to finally get to the movie sometime soon?" during spoiler? ), and I did NOT need to hear you failing to understand spoiler ). I mean, really, "What do you think he was doing? I'm not sure what he was going to do, what was he doing?" It wasn't exactly transparent, and they spell it out repeatedly. I just don't get why idiots need to go into movies and provide a running commentary. Watchmen lady, you're right up there with Lord of the Rings kids for me.

(The Lord of the Rings kids were obnoxious teenagers sitting behind me during the first movie, who walked out because "this movie is so stupid, it totally ripped off Dungeons and Dragons.")

EDIT TO ADD: Feel free to discuss or disagree with me on the points I've made, or to correct me on anything I screwed up (like I said at the start, my memory sucks ^_^ ). Remember I did this with one viewing of the movie and my last reading of the book in August.
