Diurnal again
Sep. 3rd, 2007 07:12 pmYaaaaaay I quit the hotel! ^^ Not that it was a bad job by any means (though it was getting fairly annoying at the end, stupid immature people working there), but between the hours there, the hours on the road, the cost of gas to drive back and forth, what I needed to sleep to make it through that, and getting ready for work/bed, I had about three hours left per day (and $100 in gas a week). Not good. So even though I'm now unemployed temporarily, I at least have the time to actually go around looking for a job (got a few more interviews for this week). And SLEEP. And do other things, like just plain RELAX. Should even be able to get back onto the comic soon here. And yes, I am indeed now sleeping at night and being awake during the day like normal people do. It's so weird!
Other things: I dunno if the people who recommended Avatar to me are on LJ or AIM, but GOD I'm enjoying that series. It's a hell of a lot better in order than as random episodes caught from time to time.
*Still need to get the wireless router hooked up and working, there's gotta be a solution to that, even if it's "defective router" (which I'll need to find out soon, to be able to exchange it).
*I heart Tivo; after a week of having it hooked up, I no longer have to wonder what's on; I've built up a very healthy backlog of things to watch.
*My kitty is craaaazy.
